To create a new column for a table:
1. In the “Columns” management tab, click on “”:
2. Make sure to apply the changes by clicking on “ ”:
3. Instead of a primitive type, the user can select one of its previously defined Domains (see the previous “Domain” section).
Once the column is in edit mode, you can change its name, caption and other characteristics (see the following table).
Note that the created constraints in the “Columns | Constraints” tab are considered as column constraints. In the generated DDL script, they are defined immediately after their respective column SQL code. By contrast, table constraints are generated after the creation of the entire table (columns and primary keys).
