Connections management

ERBuilder data modeler allows you to create multiple connections with multiple DBMS. ERBuilder supports the most popular DBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Database, Amazon Redshift, SQLite and Firebird.


Creating a new connection

To create a new connection:

  1. Select “File | Manage connections”.

    2. add new connection
  2. Then, click add new connectionin the “Manage Connections” form.

    3. add new connection
  3. Fill in the required fields for a database connection.
  4. Click on save new connection to complete this process.

    5. add new connection



Available in: Standard, Professional and Enterprise Editions.
